The Lake Lure Newcomers Club is an exciting group of friendly people who want to meet you.  Located in the resort community of Lake Lure North Carolina, nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge area of the western North Carolina mountains.   We are a non-profit, non-discriminatory organization that was formed to help residents of the Lake Lure area learn about the community while developing new ,close , and life time friendships.  

        We are glad you are here!

 

The mission of the club is to help new residents learn about our unique mountain home, develop friendships and take an active interest in the social and civic aspects of the town. 

Whatever your interests or schedule, Newcomers has an activity for you!  Many life-long friendships have been formed over a card or craft table or by encouraging a fellow hiker or gardener .  Click on the links to your left for information on our growing list of Interest Groups.
